Tashkent has hosted the celebrations to mark the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Uzbekistan

Celebrations were held in Tashkent to mark the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Uzbekistan, Independence Day of Georgia and the first official visit of the Georgian Foreign Minister to Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by officials of the executive and legislative authorities, diplomats, representatives of the business and cultural communities and famous Georgian art workers. Nani Bregvadze, Eka Mamaladze, music group Shvidkatsa and Dato Gomarteli performed at the concert.
The event was opened by Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and Georgian Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan Zurab Abdushelishvili.
President of the World Tourism Organization Zurab Pololikashvili and Georgia’s first Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan Givi Abdushelishvili also delivered their remarks.
