David Matikashvili and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan discussing bilateral relations

The First Deputy Chair of the Legal Issues Committee, and the Head of Georgia-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Group, David Matikashvili held the meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Azizbek Madmarov to discuss the bilateral relations and economic and tourism cooperation. “The representatives of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan expressed interest in the fields to exchange experience, including tourism and double taxation. We have pledged support to Kyrgyzstan in economic development. Similarly, Kyrgyz officials expressed commitment to support Georgia. We touched upon necessity of direct flights between Tbilisi and Bishkek as a facilitation to enhancement of bilateral relations”, - D. Matikashvili stated. The meeting was attended by MPs – Sofo Kiladze, Vano Zardiashvili and Rati Ionatamishvili.
