David Zalkaliani and Tomas Petricek have highlighted special relations between Georgia and the Czech Republic
Batumi will host Batumi International Conference “Georgia’s European Way” on 11 and 12 July 2019.Minister Zalkaliani thanked the Czech Republic for steady support to Georgian Euro-Atlantic course and said the countries collaborate intensively in politics, culture and economy.David Zalkalini stated he welcomes the increased number of Czech tourists in Georgia.The parties discussed further development of economic cooperation, human rights problems at Russia-occupied regions of Georgia and highlighted the importance of involvement of international community in fulfillment of the 2008 Ceasefire Agreement by Russia.The parties signed a deal to cooperate in crime prevention as well as a protocol on the implementation of the EU-Georgia Readmission Agreement.Tomas Petricek said Georgia has all the tools to prepare for NATO integration and the Czech Republic appreciates Georgian military missions in NATO.Tomas Petricek will participate in the upcoming Eastern Partnership conference that will open tomorrow in the Georgian coastal city of Batumi.
